Welcome to Pathfinders Cymru
Pathfinders Cymru is a grassroots, community-led charity supporting children and young people with learning challenges, neurodiversity, and additional needs.
We believe every young person deserves a space where they feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves. That’s why we create inclusive spaces and interest-led activities designed to reduce isolation, build confidence, and celebrate strengths.

From sensory spaces and skill-building workshops to supported volunteering and enterprise projects, our work is shaped by lived experience and rooted in community.
Together, we’re building a future where meaningful inclusion is the norm rather than the exception.

Our Mission
At Pathfinders Cymru, our mission is to ensure that children and young people with learning challenges, (including neurodiversity, anxiety, and Emotional Based School Avoidance) are fully included, valued, and celebrated within their communities.

We believe every young person brings unique talents and vibrant qualities that enrich society. Through inclusive activities and meaningful volunteering, from running community spaces like libraries and gardens to leading social clubs and cooking groups, we create opportunities for all children and young people to come together, share experiences, and build lasting connections.

Whether through partnerships with schools or collaboration with home-educating families, we work to dismantle the barriers that keep young people with learning challenges isolated, marginalised, or excluded from community life.

Vision:
A Wales where all young people, regardless of ability or background, have the opportunity to shape their futures with confidence and community.

Core Values:
-
Inclusion over segregation
-
Lived experience leadership
-
Person-centred progress
-
Community-rooted delivery
-
Dignity and respect for all
